BORN Auckland 1951 Full time artist potter since 1978.  Working from own studio at Birkenhead Point, Auckland..

Extensive experience as guest lecturer and demonstrator throughout New Zealand, Japan and Singapore. E.g. over 80 ceramic workshops, summer schools and residential schools.
Otago Polytechnic off campus lecturer; Auckland and Waikato. Selected, judged over 20 ceramic awards, including regional and National awards.e.g. Auckland Potters, Wellington Potters, Waikato Potters, Hume Gas Awards, New Zealand Society of Potters and the Birkenhead Licensing Trust Awards.Directed the XPO Ceramic and Glass Awards 1995-1996 and the Royal Easter Show Awards 1992- 1994 
Winner of numerous awards and prizes in New Zealand including The Tokoroa Awards, The Royal Easter Show, Chelsea Awards, Eastern Bays Art Awards and Manukau City Art Awards. EXHIBITIONS.50 solo exhibitions since 1978 in New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Dubai. Participated in over 200 group shows in New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Canada and England. COLLECTIONS. Represented in many public and private collections in New Zealand and overseas. Including Auckland, Southland and British Columbia Museums. Private collections in New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, Great Britain, U.S.A., Canada, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and Holland.
Pots have been presented as gifts by the New Zealand Government to Nelson Mandela, 1998; to Taiwan Mayors and Ambassors of Korea and Taiwan by the North Shore City 2001-2 also to the Mayor of British Columbia 1990, The Admiral of Singapore, 2002, Dame Silva Cartwright Governor General Of New Zealand, President Clinton and the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
